Levelok® Cage Holding System

Our cage holding devices are specifically designed to securely retain the cage in the necessary position on loading levels where loads are placed onto the cage. By utilizing these devices, the safe loading and unloading of both personnel and materials can be carried out without the risk of unintended cage movement. In the mining industry, we employ Levelok® type cage holding devices, which are exclusively designed, manufactured, supplied, and repaired by Levelok Engineering (Pty) Ltd, the current holders of the patent for these devices. enerbuff®

The versatile enerbuff® is a highly adaptable solution for a wide range of applications that demand energy absorption. These buffers offer different stroke options, making them suitable for various purposes, such as serving as overhead crane stoppers, arresting skips in mine shafts during loading, and addressing overruns in head gear operations.

To ensure optimal performance and suitability, each enerbuff® is meticulously designed and customized to meet the specific requirements of its application. We take into account the unique environmental conditions in which the buffers will be installed, guaranteeing that they are tailor-made to deliver outstanding performance in any given setting.

FASDOC Flask Discharge System

Our system is specifically designed to facilitate the efficient discharge of flasks at the loading station, enabling the loading of skips with ease. Equipped with an actuating hydraulic system, the flask door is seamlessly operated, ensuring a smooth transfer of ore into the skip. By activating the hydraulic system when the skip reaches the loading position, the flask door opens, allowing for swift and efficient loading.

Controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC), our system ensures precise and reliable operation. Notably, the implementation of this system significantly reduces skip loading time, optimizing overall productivity. To ensure seamless integration into existing loading sequences, the system can be tailored and customized to meet the specific design requirements and specifications of each client. This flexibility ensures that our system seamlessly aligns with the unique needs of your operations, enhancing efficiency and streamlining loading procedures.

FASDOC Skip Tipping System

Our advanced system offers a modern alternative to the traditional camelback tipping path. By implementing an actuating guide section at the tipping level within the headgear, the need for the skip to crawl into position is considerably reduced, rendering the camelback obsolete. When the skip reaches the tipping position, the hydraulic movement of the actuating guide section initiates the opening of the skip, allowing for the efficient release of ore.

Controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC), our system ensures precise and reliable operation. The incorporation of this system significantly enhances above- ground tonnage delivery, improving overall productivity.

The specific design and configuration of the system can be customized to meet the unique requirements and preferences of each client, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration into existing operations.

SMART Cage

The SMART Cage system offered by our company is an innovative regenerative electrical system that can be seamlessly integrated into both new and existing man and material cage conveyances. Our regenerative system is primarily designed to efficiently charge the onboard SMART Cage battery pack as the conveyance moves up and down the shaft. This eliminates the necessity for frequent battery replacements in the conveyance.

In addition to its energy-saving capabilities, our SMART Cage system is equipped with courtesy lights to enhance visibility during shift changes. Furthermore, the inclusion of shaft inspection lights facilitates easy underground shaft inspections.

The onboard control system of the SMART Cage system continually monitors the various onboard systems to streamline preventative maintenance by notifying the winder when any system issues are detected. This monitoring includes the Levelok system, battery status, communication systems, and other additional components integrated into the conveyance. This advanced monitoring capability can be accessed both onboard and remotely, ensuring effective management and maintenance of the conveyance systems.
